Image Guidelines for Pet Portraits
The quality of the photo you upload is crucial for the outcome of your custom pet portrait. To ensure that we can create your artwork in the highest quality, please observe the following guidelines:
-
Choose a photo taken in daylight or in a well-lit room.
-
Ideally, use a smartphone with a good camera or a high-quality digital camera.
-
Make sure that the face and neck are fully visible and not in shadow.
-
Avoid heavily filtered images so that we can accurately capture your pet's natural colors.
-
Your pet should ideally look straight into the camera, at eye level. Other viewing directions are possible but will be reflected accordingly in the final portrait.
- The animal should be standing or sitting upright and take up most of the picture. Pictures of lying, cuddling animals are not feasible in the "Minimalist" style.
Please note:
- Collars, leashes, bows, hats or other accessories will not be shown in the "Minimalist Art" style.
- Works in the "Minimalist Art" style include a depiction of the head, neck and upper shoulder area.
- Pop Art styles can be depicted in full body size with an appropriate photo. Accessories such as leashes or relevant objects in the picture will be included upon request.
Not sure if your photo is suitable?
Simply send us your picture by email to info@the-noble-friend.de and we will tell you honestly whether we can create a portrait from it.
We often create portraits of pets that have already passed away - so we know that it's not always possible to adhere to all of the above guidelines.
In many cases, we can still find a beautiful solution.
