Do you offer your service for all animal species?
Yes - we create portraits of unique animals from all over the world. Whether dogs, horses, rabbits or other animal companions: If it's an animal, we'll design a unique piece of art for it. Please note that we currently only create animal portraits and do not create portraits of people.
Are previews sent?
Yes, of course, we provide a digital preview for approval before production.
Only once you have given us your approval via email will we send your artwork to print.
However, if the photo you provided is not ideal for creating the portrait, we will of course contact you and ask for an alternative image. Please refer to our Image Guidelines for more information.
Which image should I upload?
The quality of the photo you upload is crucial for the outcome of your custom pet portrait.
To ensure that we can create your artwork in the highest quality, please read our image guidelines before uploading.
Can I submit more than one animal per artwork?
Of course - but please note that an additional charge of EUR 5 will be applied for each extra animal. We also recommend choosing the horizontal image format, so that the animals have enough space.
Can I still change my order after payment?
Yes, we are happy to assist you with changes to your order, provided you contact us by email within 30 minutes of placing the order.
After this period, changes - including adjustments to the delivery address - are generally no longer possible. Please note that order changes may lead to shipping delays in individual cases.
What is the expected delivery time?
On average, it takes us 48 hours to create your artwork.
For our art styles Pop Art N°1 and N°2, we use an elaborate framing process. After print approval, you can expect a printing and delivery time of 7 working days.
For the art style "Minimalist", we are faster due to the less elaborate framing. Here, you can expect delivery within 4-6 working days after approval.

How much is shipping?
Within Germany, we ship free of charge for orders over EUR 149. For orders below this amount, we charge EUR 7.95.

Can I return my artwork?
Return Policy
As our products are individually crafted works of art, returns are generally excluded. Each piece from The Noble Friend is created with the utmost care, individually based on the photo of your pet that you provide.
Upon receipt of your order, we generally begin processing 30 minutes later. If an email requesting cancellation of the order is received within this period, the order will of course be canceled.
Should processing have already begun, the artwork will be completed and made available to you in digital form. In this case, we will charge a flat fee of EUR 75 for our efforts, which will be deducted from the refund amount.
